Narayana Guru College of Engineering (NGCE), an institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi was established in the year 2002 under the aegis of Dr. G Sidharthan, Former Head, Department of Management studies, Anna University Chennai, and Former Registrar of Kerala University. The campus is located amidst a verdant and lush green landscape in Manjalumoodu, Kanyakumari district. The College has grown from strength to strength in the last 21 years and progressing towards Excellence in Engineering Education, Research and Development.

In pursuit of excellence, a quality management system is in place in line with ISO 9001-2000. The college is recognized under 2(f) of the UGC act 1956. Accreditations by NAAC is testimony for the quality higher educational service of the college. Narayanaguru College of Engineering Technical Business Incubation Centre was established and got recognised as Host Institute under MSME, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India
