SRM University Ramapuram Campus is an approved institution by prestigious UGC and AICTE, and has accreditation of NAAC A++ since the year 2018 for 5 years. MHRD department of government also placed this university under “A” category. The college has collaborations with SRM Hospitals and Trichy SRM Medical College. Due to SRM's connections with many businesses, students from a range of academic fields are able to tour these businesses' facilities and gain real experience of their dynamic business operations. The campus features many departments like Department of Biomedical, Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, IT, ECE, EEE and Computer Science Engineering. It also has Department of English and Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Physics, Architecture, and Chemistry. The first-year students can choose between technical courses in C/ C++/ Auto CADD/ SPSS/ Tally, and advanced Excel. Courses in Core Java/ DBMS/ Advanced C & C++/ Dot Net, and PCS are available to second-year students. According to the guidelines of the MHRD, the SRM Ramapuram Campus has established IIC also known as Institution Innovation Council. It has received recognition from MSME as a Business Incubator or Host Institution for the implementation of entrepreneurship and managerial development program. It offers various studies for interested students through its connections with other institutions, allowing them to acquire an international education and a diverse culture and boosting their calibre to be on level with the best in the world. As part of the NSS, students organised blood donation drives, visits to facility for mentally disabled children, and a health awareness drive. With the sole purpose of improving English language proficiency abilities, an English communication laboratory has been set up on the campus. Caste Discrimination, Anti Ragging Committee, and Women’s Grievance Cell make sure to provide a stable environment for the students' education
