St. Paula Montal School (SPMS) operates under Navajyothi Educational Trust and is run by the Piarist Sisters whose foundress, St. Paula Montal (1799-1889), dedicated her life to teaching children and youth, especially the most needy, providing an integral education based on Christian values. Today the Piarist Sisters carry on the mission of our foundress, fo save the families teaching children the love of God, and with this goal we began St. Paula Montal School in Tamil Nadu, June 2015.

The students are taught to love and seek the truth, building up a more just and human society. Sr. Helen Mary Bellamy is the Principal and Correspondent of St. Paula Montal School where the students are provided a learning environment in which they search for the truth and become cooperators of the truth. They develop human and spiritual values, such as sincerity, obedience, perseverance and generosity.

The faculty of St. Paula Montal School, dedicated and qualified Sisters and Teachers, follow simple and effective methods coherent with progress, fostering collaboration with parents and students who are part of the educative community. Following the educational mission of St. Paula Montal, we are characterized by our joy in teaching, fostering the dignity of each person, and building family life SPMS imparts an integral education through creativity.
