Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) are a scheme of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, aimed at providing quality education to Scheduled Tribe (ST) children in remote areas. These schools offer free education from Class VI to XII in a residential setting. They are designed to be on par with Navodaya Vidyalayas, with facilities like separate hostels for boys and girls, teacher accommodation, mess facilities, playgrounds, and more.
