Event Description
The NCCC is a prestigious event that is associated with Shri Vishnu Education Society that challenges engineering students across the states to design, build, and race concrete canoes. The inaugural edition was unique as it marked the first-ever Concrete Canoe Competition (Women Only) organized for the Engineering community in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in August 2023. This event provides a unique platform for students, particularly our talented women in civil engineering, to showcase their ingenuity, teamwork, and practical skills in concrete technology and construction methods.
SVECW, with its excellent facilities including a Special Concrete Canoe Lab and dedicated in-house lakes within the campus, is proud to host the 2nd National Concrete Canoe Competition (NCCC) (Both Male and Female) in February 2025. This a significant event that fosters the future generation of civil engineers, with a strong emphasis on empowering women in the field.
One of the most anticipated events is PHOENIX 2k25 (Symposium) which is put on by the Department of Civil Engineering, SVECW(A). Let the young minds take the initiative to contribute to the development of a more sustainable and effective way of living and think outside the box because there are no limitations for creativity. Phoenix 2k25 (Females Only) incorporates technical events which sparks curiosity and intellectual zealing. Inspiring the students to contribute in solving the most pressing problems in the engineering and technology field are the goals of this technical fest.
