Venkateswara College of Education was established by Sri Manakula Vinayagar Educational Trust in 2005. It is a self-financing institution that is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education and affiliated to the Pondicherry University. The college offers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree program in four specializations: Early Childhood Care and Education, Elementary Education, Social Studies Education, and Science Education. The college aims to impart quality education to teacher trainees and prepare them for a wide range of career opportunities in the teaching field. It has a well-equipped infrastructure with modern classrooms, laboratories, library, and sports facilities.
