Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, a public state university in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India, was established in 2012 to improve higher education facilities and fulfill a demand for a university in the area. Initially named Brij University, it was later renamed in 2014 to honor Maharaja Surajmal.
