Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya (RDVV), formerly known as the University of Jabalpur, is a prominent public state university located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. Established in 1956, it was renamed in 1983 to honor the valorous Gond queen Rani Durgavati. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with a 'B' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) .
