Raiganj University is a public state university located in Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur district, West Bengal, India. Established on 3rd February 2015 through the Raiganj University Act (West Bengal Act XXVI of 2014), it was formerly known as Raiganj College (University College) before being upgraded to university status. The university is recognized under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, enabling it to receive grants from the Government of India.
