Government Law College Theni, spanning over ten acres has been allocated by the Tamil Nadu Government in the scenic location of Theni and laid the foundation stone for the Law College on this sprawling complex. The name “Theni” itself suggests a picturesque setting, which boasts of a pleasant climate and a conducive atmosphere for excelling in all fields. The Royal Gorgeous building of Government Law College, Theni has been inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, on April 30, 2022 along with its affiliated Moot Court Hall, Men’s Hostel, Women’s Hostel, Library, and Auditorium.
The Law College offers 5-Year Integrated B.A., LL.B. course with 120 students in each year of the course and 3-Year LL.B. Course with another 120 students in each year of the course. The College is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai and approved by the Bar Council of India. Our college provides quality legal education to large segment of population and particular to the group such as those living in remote and rural areas.
