SJDM laid its foundation stone with a mere 09 students and now the number has touched to a breathtaking 2000 plus. It had just a 4-room structure with more than 30 rooms, with 3 labs and a modern fitted language lab working with a digital language program. Everything right from the vicinity, lush greenery, water facility, cleanliness, everything has been taken care of. Students are not only given placement for jobs but now we have started with training for students. They can now face interviews with confidence. As a result of this, today we have more than 65 placements. SJDM proudly claims that we are the first pioneer college to set up a language lab. More than 150 students have registered for the same. About 20 students would become fully trained in 3 months and get certificates.We have made it binding that our students come to college regularly, so a biometric machine has been installed, where they punch and their attendance is registered. Everything has been converted online. We have an e-library. All the books, magazines, and journals, have been registered. Notes are provided to students who can’t come to college. Rainwater harvesting commenced 4 years back and we have an agricultural field. The fee here is nominal that is, 7000 only. Many students are granted concessions on genuine grounds. Even field trips and industrial visits are organized and application knowledge is imparted. We frequently have seminars and workshops so that our students get exposure and learn. In short, we believe in developing the personality of the students. We have a maximum Ph.D. and code 28 faculties. We have more than 15 Ph.D’s and almost the whole staff falls under code 28. To put a cherry on the cake we have a management that believes in giving more and more exposure to the staff members. The management sends the faculty for FDPs and has an encouraging attitude towards its faculty. We hope to stride fast on the path of progress and reach its apex.
