Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), formerly known as the University of Indore, is a state university located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Established in 1964, it was renamed in 1988 to honor Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar, the 18th-century ruler of Indore. DAVV is known for its diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs across various disciplines. It is an affiliating university with jurisdiction over seven tribal-dominated districts in the Indore division and is accredited with an "A+" grade by NAAC.
