NIT Arunachal Pradesh is ranked 101 150 by NIRF 2024 under the Engineering category. The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh was established in 2010 under the NIT Act by MHRD, and the Government of India. Earlier, the college was functioning under the mentorship of NIT Durgapur. The college is known as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament.
