Vijaya Institute of technology for Women VITW is a nonprofit organization established under the umbrella of SRK Foundation in 2008. The institution was carved out of the benign vision of eminent educationist and industrialist, Sri B. S. Appa Rao, who desired of providing quality education to the rural, semi urban and urban students. The institution is located on the National Highway 5 in the city of Vijayawada, also known as cultural capital of Andhra Pradesh, on the banks of river Krishna. Its location makes it one of the most accessible colleges in the city.
