Vananchal College, Tandwa was established by the local villagers with great support bestowed by the circle officer of Tandwa Block Shree Gauri Shankar Prasad then Mining Engineer CMPDI Ltd. Mr. V.J. Philip and shree Bigul Prasad lecturer, Department of History of the college by date 14th May 1985, College was established.
