Jhabbu Singh Memorial College was established in 1980 by a great Philanthropist, Late Kailash Singh for providing higher education to the girl students in the Sub-Division of Bermo. The idea to establish a women’s College in Phusro stemmed from the fact that the girls did not have any educational facility in a radius of 40 Kms, because of which, very few girl students were able to pursue higher education.
