The first degree college to liberate the Chandankiyari Vidhan Sabha, which has been facing the brunt of not having a degree college for years, is the Mahindi Bauri Degree College. It was established in the year 2020 in Kodiya village of Chandankiyari, Bokaro. Affiliated to Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University, this college follows modern education policy. It is a unique college offering bachelor’s degree in 20 different subjects including regional languages.
