S.F.S English Medium School, Kannur is part of a larger family of SFS schools established and managed by Missionaries of St Francis De Sales (MSFS) all over India and abroad. SFS Kannur was established in the year 2003 and was affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education in the year 2014. This renowned and prestigious educational institution follows the CBSE syllabus. The school provides Quality education and character formation from Kindergarten to Class X. Beyond teaching learning activities we strive to make the students spiritually oriented, intellectually well equipped, physically fit and emotionally balanced. It is the aim and dream of the school that our students become useful and loyal to the society and the nation at large.
St. Francis de Sales (SFS) School was blessed by Rt. Rev. Dr. Varghese Chakkalakal, the Bishop of Kannur and was inaugurated by the Provincial, Rev.Fr. Jose Parapillil MSFS on 03 June 2003. As every SFS school, this SFS school also has St. Francis de Sales as its Patron.
The Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales is an international congregation, spread over 23 countries of the world and manages more than 130 educational institutions of excellence all over India and abroad. Rev. Fr. Peter Mary Mermier is the Founder of this Congregation. The management of the School tries its best to practice the words of Fr. Mermier, “Education of the heart is the Heart of education”.
