An English Medium School in Idichakkaplamoodu was begun on 6th June 2001 in an old factory building with 24 children, at the request of the parishioners and neighbours. Rev. Fr. C. T Raj, the Parish Priest blessed this new initiative.

Sr.Hima, Sr. Vibha and Sr. Sumita were the first teachers. Mrs. Vijayakumari, the convent cook was the first Ayah. 24th August 2002 : The foundation stone was laid for the School by Sr. Anima, the Provincial Superior.

Students have been appearing for a Scholarship Exam conducted by P.C.M. since 2003. By 2006 House system was introduced in the school.

The School won prizes at National level painting competition on water conservation, conducted at the request of Government of India ministry of water resources based on the theme “Conserve Water for the Future.” I.T and G.K Scholarship and Colouring Scholarship Exam were conducted by UNIX Academy

Dreaming for the continuity and future of the school, the present provincial administration decided to upgrade the school to High School and work towards obtaining NOC and Affiliation to CBSE. The Corner Stone was blessed by Fr. T. James, Parish priest and laid by Sr. Sandhya for the High School wing. The Annual Day of 2011 was extra special with Rev. Dr. Jose Aikara C.M, Chairman CISCE board Delhi as the Chief-Guest. Mr.A.T George M.L.A Parassala was the Guest of honour.
