Visitation Congregation is an indigenous Religious Congregation in India, aimed at the integral development of the local community irrespective of caste and creed. Education was given a major thrust.
In 1920 Servant of God V. Rev. Fr. Sebastian L.C Presentation started first L.P School at Kattoor. In 1924 he started the Holy Family Convent, for the education of children. V. Rev. Fr. Sebastian Presentation left for his heavenly home on 13th June 1936. Later in tune with the spirit of the founder, the sisters took initiative in establishing school attached to the convents. Each human being has an inalienable right to education.
