Sri Ram Dayal Khemka Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College is one among the schools established by the Vivekananda Educational Society in Thiruvottriyur. The main basic objective of the school is to provide man-making education as propounded by Swami Vivekananda. The objective includes Patriotism, love of God, Talent development, Spiritual development, Physical development and Intellectual development.

The school is well established with all state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities. The school owns its modern palatial building on 28 grounds with a student enrolment of 3262 and a staff strength of 107.

The school functions with sophisticated computer lab, well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology labs, Physical education room, work experience room, conference hall with audio-visual facilities, ever green library, colourful children’s corner, chaste campus with green environment etc., Knowledgeable and talented students of ours have achieved hundred percent results with creditable performance in the CBSE public exams of both X and XII standards. They will shine as the most potent force in the society and hold reins of the country in the future.

True to Swami Vivekananda’s adage “Expansion is life”, the school has started its first child school at Annai Sivagami Nagar, at Jothi Nagar and Madanlal Khemani Vivekananda Vidyalaya at Gummidipoondi.
