Smt. Durgadevi Choudhary Vivekananda Vidyalalya, a non-profit educational institution affiliated to CBSE was founded in the year 1972.  The institution is managed by Jaigopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya Trust,  a non-profit and service minded organization.  The school has completed Thirty seven years and has carved a niche for imparting value-based education with scientific temper.

The institution has been consistently producing 100% results in X Standard Board Exams for several years with merit rankers and subject toppers.

Besides academic excellence, our students have earned innumerable laurels in co-curricular activities, Sports and Games.

Six academies have been established by the Jaigopal Garodia Foundation to unearth the potential of the students and to train them to compete at inter-school level.  These academies are functioning under the auspices of Jaigopal Garodia Foundation.

The Jaigopal Garodia Free Medical Centres have been established in the school campus and Teacher’s colony to reach out to the middle class and lower middle class people of the locality.  Medical checkup, medicine and consultations are offered free.  Doctors from among our school parents and alumni render valuable services every week. 

Besides this, ‘Rice Donation’ is another feature of the social service inculcated in children.  Fist-full of rice contributed by students on every Wednesday of each month is being offered to the Orphanages.
