About
CBS was originally called New Creation School when it started in the early 1980s.
The school was renamed Aikiyam School in 2009.
Management:
The Aikiyam School Core Group manages the school.
The school works with the Auroville Outreach School Board of the Sri Aurobindo International Institute for Educational Research (SAIIER).
Funding:
The school receives funding from the Government of India for building maintenance.
The school also receives donations from parents, individuals, and organizations around the world.
