About
I’m Ratha, inspired by my beautiful aunt who has been like a second mother to me. She encouraged me to learn a variety of skills, including bridal makeup, tailoring, cake design, painting, crochet, and knitting, which I started teaching others in my teenage years. I earned my bridal makeup certification in 1994 in India and became a certified hairstylist in Canada in 2014. My career as a traveling beautician has taken me across the globe, from Sri Lanka and India to Germany, France, England, Switzerland, and Singapore, where I’ve had the privilege of doing makeup for weddings, fashion shoots, and events. Today, I teach makeup, hairstyling, and tailoring at all levels, sharing my knowledge and empowering others. For me, fashion and self-care have always been about confidence, and I’m passionate about helping others discover that through my classes. Every destination I visit inspires me to continue growing and evolving in this beautiful industry.
