Founder of Fashion Art - SUGAVANESWARI @ SUGUNA SHANMUGAM has completed her graduate degree in the commerce department. She started her journey in the fashion industry by the year of 2009. At first, she went to a class to learn about tailoring close to her house but the class was not satisfactory to herself. She was passionate to know more about stitching, so joined an institute and she completed her basic classes. At that time she had a dream to start a fashion design institute. To fulfill her dream and to step forward, she went to various Institutes to learn all types of embroidery works, artworks, crafts works, etc.. and to get teaching experience in the fashion field. After learning and with ample experience she started a small tailoring training center near her home to self-test herself, and then she trained over 150 students. Students who completed courses started their businesses from their home. By seeing that she gained confidence, she got experience from working in a reputed institute where she worked as a tutor and marketing staff in one of the famous Institute in Coimbatore for three years, that doesn't fulfill her dream, so she started with MASTER DIPLOMA IN FASHION DESIGNING course and graduated with flying colors. After that, she participated in more fashion shows in and around Coimbatore. She was awarded THE BEST CREATIVE DESIGNER OF TAMILNADU 2017 in the fashion show conducted by TEX VALLEY. She worked hard to achieve the 1 dream that has come true after 9 years with God's grace and she started her Fashion design institute FASHION ART in Coimbatore.
