Raja Shri Krishna Dutt Post Graduate College is the most ancient and premier college in Jaunpur. It is popularly known as Raj College. This institute was amongst three oldest academic institutions in Uttar Pradesh. It is located in the densely populated area of the city between the Atala Mosque and the historic Royal Fort.
It has about 52 well qualified professors, who are well known for their knowledge and teaching skills. Almost all of them are engaged in research work in various fields. The college has strength of about four thousand (4000) students in different disciplines.
Our college is known for its innovative methods of teaching and the quality of research work. We provide education in various faculties: Faculty of Science, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education (Teachers’ training), and Faculty of Commerce. Guest lectures, seminars, webinars, and training courses are organized regularly to develop skills and train students as per the need of the hour
