Established in 1947, PSG College of Arts and Science was started under the aegis of PSG & Sons’ Charities Trust. The PSGCAS is located at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and is affiliated to Bharathiar University. The College got the Autonomous status from UGC and it is approved by AICTE. The College is recognised by the Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). It is also accredited by NAAC and certified by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The PSGCAS Coimbatore is popular for its commitment towards imparting quality education and facilitating state-of-the-art amenities to the students. The College has around 87+ departments such as Commerce, Botany, Computer Science, Economics, and others. The College offers education at UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctorate level. The PSG College of Arts and Sciences has obtained 11th rank in ‘Colleges’ category under NIRF Rankings 2024. It has also got the status of Star College which was awarded by DBT-MST.
