The Speech and Hearing was established as a department in the year 1984 as an unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, and has been involved in the assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation of speech and hearing disabled since its inception. The Father Muller College of Speech and Hearing was established in the year 2007 offering the undergraduate program (Bachelors of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology) which now includes 3 years of degree course followed by a 10 month Internship program. The College is affiliated to Mangalore University and is recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
