The Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute (MGLI) is an autonomous institute established by the Government of Gujarat in 1979. Its primary goals are to promote harmonious industrial relations, provide social justice to labor, and serve the cause of various labor groups, including agricultural laborers, women, child laborers, and those in the unorganized sector. MGLI achieves these goals through research, training, education, and dissemination of information.
