Established in 1992 in Mysore, Karnataka, Farooqia Women's Polytechnic was founded by the Rifa-Hul Muslimeen Educational Trust. The institution was created to provide technical education opportunities exclusively for women, particularly from minority communities, aiming to bring them into the mainstream of technical education.
