Avinasi Gounder Mariammal College of Education is a pioneer Teacher Education institution, having to its credit a remarkable contribution to empowerment and upliftment of Student-Teachers(D.El.Ed & B.Ed) and Teacher Educators(M.Ed) moulding them into academically and professionally competent, self-sufficient and self-confident individuals to emerge outstanding in their respective avocations. The College is established in the year 2005 with an aim to achieve high ideals for future teachers. It is one among the Colleges of teacher education started under self-financing scheme during 2005.
