Tiruvannamalai District is educationally and economically backward area and the people could not afford much for higher studies of their wards. To fulfil the needs of the people in Tiruvannamalai District, the seeds for higher education were sworn on 1st October 1993 on which Sree Selvavinayagar Trust was established and the main objective of the Trust is to provide educational and employment opportunities to the people of Tiruvannamalai District, particularly Tiruvannamalai town.
