The DIET Uthamapalayam came in to existence during the third phase, i.e. in 1999-2000. DIET Uthamapalayam 18 kms away from Theni city. The DIET comprises 7 branches for providing services to both Pre-service and In-service sector of Education. There are 19 academic staff members including the Principal.
