In 1958 the Dental Wing was started in People’s Medical at Humanyunagar. The first batch of 25 Students were admitted for BDS course during July/August 1959. Later in 1962, the Govt. Dental College and Hospital was developed as a Dental Wing of the Osmania Medical College & Osmania General Hospital situated in OGH campus at Afzalgunj.
