About
Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, originally known as the University of Saugar, was established on July 18, 1946, by Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour. It's one of the oldest universities in Madhya Pradesh and was later renamed in honor of its founder. In 2009, it was declared a central university.
