The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) in New Delhi was established in 1985. The university itself was founded in 1920 in Aligarh, but moved to its current location in Okhla, Delhi, in 1935, with the foundation stone for the school building laid in 1935. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology is now a well-regarded institution offering various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and technology.
