Lovely Professional University is one of the largest private universities in Punjab. Lovely Professional University came into being by the Government of Punjab under the enactment of State Legislature namely The Lovely Professional University Act (Act No.25 of 2005). It is duly recognized by University Grant Commission under section 2(F) of UGC Act. It has the distinction of being the first self-financing University in the State of Punjab and ninth in India. Internationally compatible curriculum and pedagogy with foreign collaborations.Industry oriented practical education with extensive focus on placements is it's forte.
