NORTH EAST INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & TECHNOLOGY (NEIMT) was formally established in 2015 under the REGISTRATION OF SOCIETIES ACT XXI 1860, Govt. of Assam, VIDE REGN.NO KAM (M)/669 OF 2015-16. Engineering education is the activity of teaching knowledge and principles to the professional practice of engineering. It includes the initial education for journey of becoming an engineer, and any advanced education and specializations that follow. Engineering is the creative application of science, mathematical methods, and empirical evidence to the innovation, design, construction, and maintenance of structures, machines, materials, devices, systems, processes, and organizations. The discipline of engineering encompasses a broad range of more specialized fields of engineering, each with a more specific emphasis on particular areas of applied mathematics, applied science, and types of application.
