St. Joseph's University was formerly known as St. Joseph's College which was established in 1882. SJU Bangalore is located at Bangalore, Karnataka and got the status of University in 2022. The St. Joseph's University Bangalore is approved by UGC and recognised by Institution’s Innovation Cell (IIC), and Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. Smt. Droupadi Murmu, the honourable President of India, inaugurated the University and is the notable visitor of the SJU Bangalore. At the University, a number of courses are offered at UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctorate level. St. Joseph’s University is famous for facilitating value-based education, research programs, and excellent infrastructure. Various schools of the SJU Bangalore include School of Business, School of Chemical Sciences, School of Social Work, School of Information Technology, and the list continues with many others.
