St. Joseph’s College (SJC) was established in the year 1844 as an Autonomous college to provide higher education to students in the fields of Management, Humanities, and Science. The college is affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and is approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC. The college envisions developing students in such a way that they become competent, committed, compassionate, and holistic individuals who can work towards upliftment of society. The mission of the college is to mould the minds of students of diverse backgrounds and align their knowledge, personality, and skills through quality education and value-driven pedagogy.
