The College is a Sindhi linguistic minority institution established in 1961 by the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board to cater to the educational needs of students. It is permanently affiliated to the prestigious University of Mumbai. It is approved under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. NAAC’s re-accreditation score in 2010 (Second Cycle) is 3.29 of 4.00 CGPA. The college aims to provide university education for deserving students irrespective of caste and creed. Over the years, MMK has established itself as one of the leading colleges in Mumbai. The institution has over 4000 students on its roll. It has made rapid strides in diverse fields and has introduced a variety of courses in keeping with the plurality of student needs.
