Apeejay Stya University (ASU) was established in 2010 under the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2010. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. The university was founded by Dr. Stya Paul, who also established the Apeejay Education Society, with the aim of creating a global learning environment focused on value-based education, man-making, and nation-building.
