Shri Krishna University (SKU) is situated in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, just 13 km away from the city, in a lush and green peaceful environment with more than 75 acres of land at present. The university was established as a State Private University vide Notification No. 12532-254-21-अ (प्रा) through Madhya Pradesh Act 26 of 2018 dated 28th July 2018.
SKU was also listed by UGC (Ministry of HRD), New Delhi, in the UGC list of Private Universities through Letter No. SF No-8-12/2018 dated 21st August 2018 and hence listed under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. The university runs 14 faculties and 34 departments with all essential programmes required for students to enroll in higher education, such as Law, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Science, Management, Engineering, and other programmes. All programmes are duly approved by their respective regulatory bodies and councils.
