Saurashtra University came into existence in 1967 after the Legislative Assembly of Gujarat passed the Gujarat Act No. 39. This university was established to deliver excellent academic pedagogy and training to students with modern infrastructural support. Saurashtra University is approved by UGC & AICTE, and accredited by NAAC with a “A” grade.
