About
The Faculty of Technology and Engineering at Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) in Vadodara, Gujarat, has a rich history that began with the establishment of the Kala Bhavan Technical Institute (KBTI) in 1890 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. Initially focused on practical skills like drawing, dyeing, and carpentry, it later expanded to include textile technology and other engineering fields. In 1949, KBTI was integrated into the newly formed MSU and became the Faculty of Technology and Engineering.
