U. V. Patel College of Engineering (UVPCE) was established in September 1997 as part of Ganpat University. It was founded with the aim of providing quality engineering education and contributing to the development of skilled professionals. The college is named after Shri Ugarchandbhai Varanasibhai Patel, a prominent Gujarat industrialist who supported its establishment.
