Indus University has two distinct entities: one in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and another in Karachi, Pakistan. The Ahmedabad-based Indus University, formerly known as Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering, was established in 2006. It is a private university focused on providing a range of programs in technology, engineering, design, and other fields. The Karachi-based Indus University, initially the Indus Institute of Higher Education (IIHE), was established in 2004 and upgraded to a university in 2012. It offers programs in business administration, engineering, information science, and more.
